Ways I can help

Bring the question. Build the right financial tool.

Some engagements begin with a blank workbook. Others start with an existing template, operating plan, or model that needs better assumptions, clearer outputs, or a second set of eyes.

01

Build a Model From Scratch

Translate the way your business earns revenue, uses capacity, incurs costs, and requires capital into a practical forecast built around your situation.

02

Adapt or Expand a Model

Modify a SmartHelping template or your existing workbook to add operating drivers, scenarios, financing, reporting, or stakeholder views.

03

Acquisition & Investment Consultation

Work through purchase assumptions, valuation, debt, cash flow, buyer returns, or unusual transaction structures that require custom analysis.

04

Model Review & Validation

Review formulas, assumptions, scenario logic, and outputs so you can understand what the workbook says—and whether it supports the decision.

Modeling specialties

Different industries. The same disciplined logic.

Good financial modeling starts with the economic engine of the business. The workbook should show which assumptions matter, how they connect, and what changes when reality differs from the plan.

How hourly work runs

A transparent process from question to workbook.

Scope can change as the model takes shape, so hourly work stays flexible while the live time tracker keeps the engagement visible.

STEP 01

Define the objective

Start with the decision, the available data, the people using the model, and the outputs that would make the work useful.

STEP 02

Align on a starting scope

Estimate the initial hours, identify the first useful milestone, and purchase the hourly credit needed to begin.

STEP 03

Build and communicate

Jason structures the logic, works through questions, and communicates what has been completed and what remains.

STEP 04

Review and close out

Walk through the model, make agreed revisions within the hours available, and refund fully unused hours if necessary.

Time is tracked on a live client spreadsheet that the client can always access.

Hourly terms

Prepaid time, used where it creates the most value.

When you buy hourly credit, you are purchasing Jason's working time—not a guaranteed finished product. This keeps the engagement flexible for specialized work whose exact scope may become clearer as the model develops.
